Riding Tour Vinales

We will start the horseback tour in our meeting place (in front of the Vinales baseball stadium). From there we will go to the starting point of the route where the horses will wait for us.

Then we will start the ride where I will explain some interesting things about the landscapes and fields of Vinales. We will be able to see the mountains from very close passing through paths inside the Vinales National Park.

We will go to a tobacco factory where they will explain the manufacturing process of artisanal tobacco. You can see all the stages of this and even smoke a “pure” Cuban for free.

Then we will go to the El Corazón del Valle restaurant, in the heart of the valley where we will enjoy a delicious lunch of Cuban food enjoying the best view of Vinales Valley.

We will also go through a station where they will explain the process of making coffee and honey, a very consumed beverage in the area.

In addition, you can enjoy the explanation about the most popular alcoholic beverage in the area: the rum Guayabita del Pinar. You can buy if you want one of these products, fruits, juices, soft drinks, souvenirs, etc.

VINALES VALLEY OF CUBA:

An official national park and by far the most visited location in Pinar del Río, the jewel in the province’s crown is the valley of Viñales, with its fantastically located accommodation, striking landscapes, and an atmosphere of complete serenity. Though only 25km north of Pinar del Río city, the valley feels very remote, with a lost-world quality that’s mainly due to the unique mogotes, the boulder-like hills that look as if they’ve dropped from the sky onto the valley floor.

There is usually very little traffic on the road, and throughout the journey, there are multiple views that are worthy of making beautiful photographs. If you are traveling in a private or a shared taxi, you are welcome to ask the driver to make a few brief stops along the way should you feel it necessary.
